Case study
A HK company is required to have a Deed of Assignment signed by its director for the transfer of shares and assets in its subsidiary company in the Philippines.
The director of the HK company has to sign the Deed of Assignment in the presence of HK Notary Public in HK.
The HK Notary Public then issued Notarial Certificate enclosing the signed Deed of Assignment as verification of the signature of the director on the Deed, and then arranged for HK High Court Apostille on the Notarial Certificate for use in the Philippines.
